This perennial plant, which can reach up to 10 cm in height, is popular as an ornamental plant not only because of its long-stemmed and heart-shaped leaves, but also because of its valuable above-ground parts, from which the precious oil is extracted by steam distillation between May and July.
In aromatherapy: Violet oil is valued for its pleasant scent and is often used in aromatherapy to promote relaxation and calming.
